Take a photo of any object; learn its name, pronunciation and meaning in English
Perfecting a wider vocabulary in English is always challenging. That is why the British Council, the world's largest English-language teaching organization, has developed a new App that turns our everyday surroundings into a powerful learning tool. Now mastering a wider vocabulary is as easy and as fun as taking a photo.
How it works:
• Take a photo of any object you don’t know the English name for.
• Using shape recognition technology, the platform identifies a match against over 40 million images on our database.
• Collaborating with the Cambridge Dictionary, each search offers the correct pronunciation and meaning.
• With a simple tab, people can book an appointment to enrol in classes to further improve their proficiency.
