Learn to read Biblical Greek and Hebrew with Biblist
Biblist is a tool to help students of Biblical Greek and Hebrew learn to read. It uses an adaptive interlinear to create a Biblical text customized for the user, and is appropriate for both advanced and beginning students. Only words unknown to the user display a translation, so you have the convenience of an interlinear where you need it, without the crutch where you don't.
The vocab module tests you by displaying a verse, with one word highlighted in blue. After revealing the answer you tell the program whether you got it right or wrong. This is one way the app learns what words you know, and which ones to test you on in the future.
The reading module should be used in all the same ways that you would use a Bible or a full interlinear. As with the vocab module, what is displayed is the adaptive interlinear, customized for you.
The quality of the Greek text is quite good whereas the Hebrew is poor and should be used with caution.
