The Ringed Radar is the best detector in Desert Detector. Other than this, you can also go for Core Detector, as it offers the best cost-to-value ratio in the entire game. Not only does it have the best range across all detectors, but it also packs decent speed. This allows you to rush toward the item before anyone else does.

Detectors in this tier don't have substantial cons, so you are free to go with the one you prefer the most. For example, if you want speed over range, pick the Triangular Detector, and if vice versa, the Signal Detector is a great choice. Despite having the best stats in the entire game, I've ranked Demon Detector in the A tier only because you have to buy it using Robux.

The detectors mentioned in this tier are only good when you are just starting out. From the three, I'd suggest buying the Copper Detector as soon as you have the money for it and the levelling up from there.
