Create alchemical tonics by conjecture and experiment in this free English Language word-guessing game by H. Pearberry. Tonic 5 - Word Alchemy offers strategy and gameplay similar to popular word games like Jotto and Lingo. In this single-player game you strive to create tonics (words) by combining elements (letters) into a conjecture. Each guess is scored based on how closely it resembles the secret five letter tonic formula. With multiple difficulty and gameplay levels you can unlock, Tonic 5 lets you choose the type of game to play. You can play casually -- a quick, fun game for life’s idle moments, or you can hone your deductive skills with a Mastermind-like challenge. Perfect app for anagram training for Scrabble or other word games. The base game is free along with all features described below. Future expansions, themes, and multiplayer functionality will be optional in-app purchases.

* Innovative scoring of your guesses as you try to decipher the word.
* Multiple levels of challenge. The game starts by picking target words from a “common words” dictionary. You can unlock two progressively harder dictionaries simply by playing.
