Functionalities of this version of the VID app, in which almost all known bugs are fixed, are:

- Current traffic information: directly from the VID -Alder room comes the reliable and current traffic information about A and N-roads.

- Traffic information on your route: Create various alternative routes for the trips that you make the most. You can compare the travel time of the different routes, but also use the routes in the 'Onderweg' mode. The app provides traffic information specifically for your route (s).

- Return mode: By clicking on the steering wheel of a travel alternative you get to the 'Onderweg' mode. This is intended to use during the ride and always compares the travel time with the travel time of alternative routes. Moreover, on the basis of the route you follow, the app itself determines which alternative is available or again. Various route alternatives can come together again near your destination. This way you can always make the best choice on the road. In addition, you will receive all notifications, incidents, diversion routes on your route, the remaining travel time is up -to -date (you always know what time you are at your destination). You also see the current maximum speed where you are driving at that moment.

-Thuiswerkadvies: The home work advice indicates based on your personal institutions and the current traffic situation on your home-to-work route whether it is wise to work (temporarily) at home and thus prevent unnecessary delay. The App automatically sends you a push message (if desired) when the delay is resolved so that you can choose to go to work without delay.

- Extra information: via the app you can watch the images of the traffic cameras. The app also contains information about public transport. The 'reports' window can be chosen for an info, after which the most important train delays are shown. When breaking down the 'On the way' mode, it is possible to opt for public transport information: the current public transport delivery information in the area where the user is located. This is specially intended for the possible continuation of a trip with public transport.

-Link to the VID website: with a usage account of the app you can also log in to the VID website. This tailored the traffic information to your profile and you can also see data from the journeys you have made.

This app contains advertising people. You can turn off the advertisements through a one-off in-app purchase. Naturally, earlier in-app Purchases will continue to apply, so if you have already purchased the expansion, the app will remain advertising-free (choose 'repair' for this)
