This Calculator can be used to determine the Center Of Gravity (CG) of a fixed wing Model Airplane.
CG is measured back from the Leading Edge on the wing. Any unit of Measurement can be used according to User's choice.
CG Reference:
1. Conventional Wing: 25-35%
2. Gliders and Sail Planes: Upto 35%
3. Flying Wings : 20-25%
4. Delta Wings : 15-19%
Note: The default CG position values are well tested and
found to be correct on 10/10 different Radio Controlled
Aircraft models.
Above values are for general reference only. CG position
may vary according to the air frame design.
Take extra precautions while balancing the aircraft. Too aft
CG or high CG% can make a plane unstable and unflyable.
