NavaGraha Temples (Sthalams) in Tamil Nadu

Apart from being the abodes of the Gods where one goes to prey and seek solace, these temples are also known for their architectural beauty. It is customory for the people who follow the Hindu faith and believe in the power of the planets, to visit the NavaGraha Temples and seek the blessings of the ‘Grahas’. The cluster of the most famous NavaGraha Temples (The Nine Planets) dating from the Chola dynasty are located in and around Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, India.
