The iAvocado application from Avocados from Mexico for Android sends the user a notification to their mobile device when they are nearby an Avocado from Mexico display in a grocery store. The notification provides discount coupons and recipe ideas for Avocado from Mexico products. The application detects Bluetooth Low Energy beacons (iBeacons) on the grocery store displays.
