Geopueblos is a project developed by seven rural development groups, through the financing of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, which is committed to the development and economic, social and environmental improvement of the regions in which they work.
This platform, through geolocation and geopositioning tools, collects the tourist resources of all the areas involved in the project to highlight the value of them and to promote tourism and sustainable entrepreneurship, so that they can be developed in an adequate way in direct contact with the medium.
Geopueblos is a basic tool to bring the most urban citizen closer to adequate information to improve their leisure experience in the project areas.
The rural development groups involved in the project and their work areas are:
-Avinza -GDR 15: Allariz region and surroundings (Ourense).
-Adeco Camino: Amaya region and Camino de Santiago (Burgos).
-Galsinma: Sierra Norte de Madrid.
-Aracove: Aranjuez and region of Las Vegas (Madrid).
-Aprodervi: region Villuercas, Ibores Jar (Cáceres).
-Promancha: North Stain of Ciudad Real.
